Brewer | Huntsville High School

To describe Brewer is to describe the ideal Southern Gentlemen. He is a kind-hearted, baseball playing, seer-sucker wearing, all around awesome guy.  I greatly enjoyed getting to know him & being able to capture him the summer before he went off to UAB.

When his Mom first contacted me about photographing Brewer she was firm in wanting only candid-looking images of her son. No posed pics. This was perfectly acceptable & rather a fun challenge. I usually always strive to have my seniors look as natural as possible. But in order to do that, I first have to pose them. It’s the only way it works. My assistants & I always have a giggle when I have a senior who thinks that all they will have to do is stand in a field while I move around them taking images. Well kids, think again. 😉

Brewer was so incredible & took direction so well that within 20 minutes of his session I thought I had taken all of the images I needed! Since he was such a good sport, I went ahead & asked if I could try some more “model” poses on him. So in the end, we did break Mom’s posing rule but some of them actually ended up being her faves. <3

Brewer is a graduate of Huntsville high school.
