Beautiful Kaelyn came to me after having seen a few of her friends’ sessions that I had done. I love referral’s. As a small business, word of mouth is where it’s at! There is nothing better than to hear that previous clients loved their experience so much that they tell their friends! So thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who spread the word of a rather odd, 20-something year old girl, who loves to make seniors feel amazing about themselves & give them pretty awesome images. Ya’ll rock!
Back to Kaelyn! 😉 She is a current senior at Madison Academy. She has one the sweetest families I’ve ever met!! Seriously would would work with them again in a heartbeat. Kalyn describes herself as boho chick & made the decision to shoot at the lovely Hay’s Nature Preserve.
Now, normally this location is pretty full proof, except that neither of us put into account the record rainfall that we had gotten the week before. Put it to you short, when we arrived at the location we saw that the majority of Hay’s was flooded. Like do not pass, do not collect 200 dollars flooded. The usually picturesque wooden bridge that all of my seniors ask for (Huntsvillians know what I’m taking about) was halfway flooded & uncrossable. The field across from the iron bridge was 3/4’s submerged. Needless to say, our faces were pretty priceless coming upon the scene. Thankfully, I had a fearless senior, as well as an amazing parental team who still completely trusted me to still give their daughter an great senior experience. We shot on the half of the bridge that wasn’t underwater & the very small part of the field that was dry. I really think we succeeded in getting some gorgeous senior images! Lemme know below if you can tell that our location was flooded. 🙂
